What Is The Best Price Guarantee?


The Best Price Guarantee (the "Best Price Guarantee") is available to members and authorized guests of RCI, LLC ("RCI") who have booked an Extra VacationsSM Getaway, which is rental inventory made available through Resort Rental, LLC, on or after October 27, 2008. If you find a Qualifying Lower Rate in U.S. dollars within twenty four (24) hours of your booking, we will provide you with a refund of the difference between the price you paid for the Extra VacationsSM Getaway and the Qualifying Lower Rate.


A "Qualifying Lower Rate" means a price listed for rental inventory made available through a U.S.-based Web site not related to RCI that is lower than the price you paid for the same (1) Extra VacationsSM Getaway accommodation, (2) length of stay, (3) unit type and (4) travel dates, as determined by RCI.


When Does The Best Price Guarantee Apply?


1. The Best Price Guarantee applies generally to Extra VacationsSM Getaways located only in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, but does not apply to the following:, all-inclusive resorts, and private vacation home rentals.
2. In order to be a Qualifying Lower Rate, the lower rate must be for an identical booking, as described above. All booking details must exactly match the details of the product you booked, including but not limited to the following: specific carrier or provider of vacation rental accommodation, dates and times of travel or service, and other booking details. The check-in date of the booking must also be greater than 5 days from the date the vacation was confirmed.
3. The Qualifying Lower Rate must be a rate for a standalone product. For example, for a booking, a Qualifying Lower Rate shall not include the accommodation portion of a Flight + Accommodation vacation, or the accommodation portion of a vacation package on any other U.S.-based Web site.
4. The Qualifying Lower Rate cannot be part of an offer providing an incentive for staying at the property. Specifically, the Qualifying Lower Rates must not require that the vacationing party attend a sales presentation, be provided with a gift, or be required to provide referrals.
5. A Qualifying Lower Rate must be both advertised and available to the general public on a U.S.-based Web site. Qualifying Lower Rates shall not include corporate discounts or rates, group rates, club member rates, charter rates, rewards program rates, incentives, meeting rates, convention rates, consolidator or interline prices, consumer to consumer offers, or prices available only by using a coupon, or any other rates or promotions not offered to the general public. An exception, however, may be made for an RCI member submitting a claim who was also a member in good standing of another timeshare exchange company (the "Other Company") at the time of the rental payment, and finds a lower price available for the Other Company’s members for a rental booking that otherwise meets the Best Price Guarantee conditions; all other terms and conditions of the Best Price Guarantee shall apply to such a submission. A Qualifying Lower Rate may not come from a Web site which requires you to call to get the rate, or from an email that you received. The Qualifying Lower Rate must be quoted and booked in U.S. dollars (without reference to currency converters).
6. In order to be approved for the Best Price Guarantee refund, we must be satisfied that you meet all requirements otherwise imposed on the lower price offer, including residency, age, etc.
7. The Best Price Guarantee applies to the total cost of the standalone rental accommodation (including taxes, booking fees and other hidden costs). We never charge a booking fee on any of the properties covered by the Best Price Guarantee. For example, with respect to an accommodation booked through us, the Best Price Guarantee applies to the total cost of the Extra VacationsSM Getaway accommodation in comparison to the total cost of an applicable lower price that includes any booking fees and taxes associated with that property.


How Do I Apply For a Best Price Guarantee Refund?


1. You must contact us by submitting the Best Price Guarantee claim form through within twenty-four (24) hours of completing your booking with us to determine if you are eligible to receive the Best Price Guarantee refund. For a Qualifying Lower Rate, we must determine that the lower rate is available for booking at the time you contact us. You must complete all of the information on the claim form which includes the following: first name, last name, phone number, email, RCI membership ID number, confirmation details (including resort ID, name, location, travel dates, unit size, and the date the booking was confirmed), the URL where the lower price was located and the total price found (including all taxes and fees). We will not accept screenshots or other purported evidence of a lower price.
2. All lower price submissions, including any required documentation (see claim form), are subject to our verification. Our decisions are final and not subject to appeal or reconsideration. By submitting a Best Price Guarantee claim form, you fully and unconditionally agree that you are bound by these Terms and Conditions and by RCI’s determinations on the matter. We will not grant any Best Price Guarantee refund if we believe, in our sole discretion, that a lower price is the result of a printing or other error or is made in bad faith.
3. We will verify or deny your claim within five (5) business days of submission of a completed claim form. If your claim is verified, you will receive, within ten (10) business days of our determination, the refund for the price difference, in the form of a credit to the credit card used to pay for your Extra VacationsSM Getaway. If the Extra VacationsSM Getaway was paid for using RCI credit or an RCI coupon, the refund will be applied to your RCI exchange balance.


Other Important Information


1. Limit: There is a limit of five (5) Best Price Guarantee refunds per customer, per calendar year, regardless of the number of accounts held by the customer.
2. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to modify, restrict, or discontinue the Best Price Guarantee. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. The terms contained in the Terms and Conditions are incorporated herein and made a part of these Terms and Conditions.
