When you became a timeshare owner, chances are that you considered the long term advantages vacation ownership would offer to you and your family. Maybe you planned to vacation with your family and friends, and maybe you planned on eventually selling it or even transferring your ownership to your loved ones. If you've transferred your vacation ownership, whether through a sale, as a gift, or as part of your estate, and you also wish to transfer your RCI membership, here's some useful information.

Once you have transferred legal ownership and notified your home resort, you can then proceed with the RCI Membership Transfer Application.

How to Transfer your RCI Subscribing Membership:

  • Option 1 - The easiest way!

      Fill in all fields on the form.

      Fax or mail the form back to RCI, as indicated on the form

  • Option 2 - Another way.

      Go to RCI.com.

      Click "Help" in the upper right hand corner of the page.

      Click the "Fees and Forms" link.

      Click the "RCI Weeks Subscribing Membership/Timeshare Ownership
      Transfer Application."

      Fill in all fields on the form.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much is the Membership Transfer Application processing fee?

    The fee is $98 USD.

  • How long does it take?

    Once Customer Service receives your application, it is typically processed within 2 weeks.

  • Will my RCI account number be transferred to the new owner?

    That’s up to you. If you want to keep your RCI account to use your remaining deposits, confirmed vacations, or Extra VacationsSM getaways, you can keep your RCI membership. If you want to transfer everything, including any prepaid membership fees, then you will transfer the RCI membership and RCI account number to the new owner.

  • What about my unused deposits?

    That’s up to you! If you choose to keep your existing RCI membership, you can choose to keep your unused deposits. If you are transferring your entire RCI membership, then your deposits would also be transferred to the new owner.

  • What about my upcoming confirmed vacations?

    That’s also up to you! If you choose to keep your existing RCI membership, you can choose to keep your confirmed vacations. However, if you are transferring your entire RCI membership, then your confirmed vacations would also be transferred to the new owner.

  • What about my prepaid membership fees?

    If you are transferring your existing membership, then any prepaid membership fees will transfer to the new owner. If you are maintaining your account, then you can continue to use your other benefits and renew it as usual. If you are cancelling your account, you will be issued a prorated refund for any prepaid membership fees.
